TowTide is an information app for the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. It displays tide and current predictions from NOAA CO-OPS, gauge readings from the USGS, and lock and closure information from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
TowTide is not a navigation system and must not be used as one. It is not a substitute for official charts, Notices to Mariners, a lockmaster's instructions, or your own judgement as a licensed operator. Predictions are astronomical and do not account for wind, river stage, or barometric pressure. Gauges fail, feeds lag, and readings can be wrong or absent. Always confirm conditions with the lockmaster on VHF 13 before committing to a passage.
Tide, current, gauge and lock data are supplied by NOAA, the USGS and USACE, who provide it without warranty and do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or availability. Jackstaff Digital LLC does not verify, correct or endorse that data and passes it through as received. Any status TowTide computes is advisory only.
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use TowTide on devices you own or control. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source of the app.
The monthly plan includes a one-month free trial for new subscribers, granted through Google Play. The trial begins when you start the subscription, not when you install the app, and is available once per Google account. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and you will not be charged. Without a subscription or the lifetime purchase, TowTide remains usable with up to three favorites.
Subscriptions are billed through your Google Play account and renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription.
The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and does not renew.
Prices are shown on the subscription screen in your local currency. Refunds are handled by Google Play under their refund policy; we cannot issue them directly.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jackstaff Digital LLC is not liable for any loss, damage, delay, grounding, allision, collision, injury or economic loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this app or the data it displays. You use TowTide at your own risk and remain solely responsible for the safe operation of your vessel.
These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
